**Updated March 10, 2010- Exploration of OASIS-C Training Needs: The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) welcomes feedback from the public regarding areas of education and training that would be beneficial for ongoing use of the OASIS-C instrument. Though providing this feedback is optional, information received will furnish CMS with valuable insight that will assist with the planning of future training. Please feel free to comment at OASISCTrainingFeedback@cms.hhs.gov . Though CMS welcomes feedback on an ongoing basis, receipt of this OASIS-C training information by March 22, 2010 would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your interest and support.

**Updated February 4, 2010- The fifth annual national administration of the Medicare Contractor Provider Satisfaction Survey (MCPSS) is now underway. If you received a letter indicating that you were randomly selected to participate in the 2010 MCPSS, CMS urges you to take a few minutes to go online and complete this important survey via a secure Internet website. Responding online is a convenient, easy, and quick way to provide CMS with your feedback on the performance of the FFS contractor that processes and pays your Medicare claims. Survey questionnaires can also be submitted by mail, secure fax, and over the telephone. To learn more about the MCPSS, please visit the CMS MCPSS website http://www.cms.hhs.gov/mcpss or to view the CMS MLN Matters Special Edition article, SE1005 featuring the 2010 MCPSS, please go to the Downloads section below. For questions related to MCPSS, contact Teresa Mundell at Teresa.Mundell@cms.hhs.gov.

Home Health, Hospice, and Durable Medical Equipment Open Door Forum (ODF) Overview:

The Home Health, Hospice & Durable Medical Equipment ODF addresses the concerns of three unique health care areas within the Medicare & Medicaid programs. Issues related to Home Health PPS, the newly proposed competitive bidding for DME, and the Medicare Hospice benefit are all topics the forum has covered. Many of the issues covered bridge concerns within all three settings, and the combination of the topics under one forum has been useful to many participants. We continue to hold Special ODFs when individual policy issues require special attention. Timely announcements and clarifications regarding important rulemaking, agency program initiatives, and other related areas are also included in the forums.
