• March 12, 2010 - Notification of State File Processing Suspension

As of Friday, March 12, 2010 at 6:00 PM (ET), CMS will experience a temporary delay in processing of State MMA files. Processing is expected to resume Monday, March 15, 2010 at 6:00 AM (ET). The delay is the result of MARx end-of-month processing. As a result of this delay, beneficiaries who would have been newly deemed for the low-income subsidy deeming and/or auto/facilitated enrolled during this time and that would have appeared on the Sunday, March 14, 2010 TRR will instead be transmitted on the Sunday, March 21, 2010 TRR. However, starting Tuesday, March 16, 2010, data will be available in CMS' systems, and plans may use the Integrated User Interface (IUI) or Batch Eligibility Query (BEQ) to access them.

• February 24, 2010 – March 2010 Full-Dual File for MA Organizations and Cost Plans

Please review the MA Full Dual File Notification memo in the Downloads section below for details regarding the March 2010 MA Full-Dual File. The file is scheduled for transmission on or about Wednesday, March 3, 2010.

• February 1, 2010 – Notice - Change in Submission Cutoff for Enrollment Transactions

Effective with the April 2010 payment cutoff scheduled for March 12, 2010, and for all remaining cutoffs for the 2010 plan year, the deadline for submitting enrollment transactions will be extended from 6:00pm (ET) until 8:00pm (ET).

Enrollment and Eligibility System Production Calendar

• NEW! (February 25, 2010) – The MAPD Production Schedule for 2010 has been updated to reflect changes to March file transmissions. A text and color version of the calendar is available for Plans to review in the Downloads section below.

Planned Outages

• March 12, 2010 - IMPORTANT NOTICE - Gentran Scheduled Maintenance

Please be advised that Gentran will be undergoing routine scheduled maintenance on Saturday, March 13, 2010 from approximately 9:00am to 10am (ET) and again on Sunday, March 14, 2010 from approximately 12:01am (ET) to 12:00pm (ET). Gentran connectivity will not be available during these two planned outages.

As a reminder, Plans WILL NOT be receiving new files during the Sunday outage timeframe. Files sent by Plans during the 12:01am to 12:00pm (ET) time period will be processed once Gentran maintenance is complete and systems are back up in production mode.

Regularly Scheduled Maintenance

• As a reminder, each Sunday night beginning at 6 pm (ET) through Monday morning at 6 am (ET), the Medicare Advantage and Part-D Inquiry System (Common UI) will be unavailable to Plan users for routine scheduled maintenance.
